7 Hurtz are an electronic act from London. Their members have included Lascelles Gordon (Brand New Heavies, Ben Cowen (Snorkel) and remixer/producer Paul Waller. 7 Hurtz released two albums on the Output Recordings label - Audiophiliac (2000) and Electroleum (2003). Cowen and Gordon concentrated on other projects after the release of Electroleum; Output Recordings folded in 2006. In 2008, the Lascelles Gordon returned to the 7 Hurtz name, working with Paul Waller to release Illectronic Part 1, a 3-track single on the Process Recordings label. Cowen is also credited with co-writing the first track, Illectro. .

Dayna Kurtz is an American female singer/songwriter who is reknown for her warm and dark voice. She writes about love but also makes political statements (f.e. in "The Day of Atonement, 2001" off her record Another Black Feather). So far she made three records. The debut album Postcards From Downtown (2002) is considered a classic record in the singer/songwriter genre. Gonzalo Urtizberea a.k.a. Gurtz. Buenos Aires, Argentina. He approached electonic and digital music towards the end of the 90s through the use of different software of production, edition, and audio sequencing on PC. During his residence in Córdoba (1999 – 2003) he studied Musical Composition at the U.N.C and explored different genres from ambient to minimal, via idm, downtempo, and electroacoustic music. Urtz se formó en 1988. La formación original fue Xabier Camarero (voz y guitarra), Asier Arocena (guitarra y coros), Josu Ariztegi (batería y coros) y Víctor G.-Argüelles (bajo). Con la grabacion de la maqueta titulada "Zelatan" en el año 1991 se dieron a conocer al publico y les sirvio para grabar su primer disco con Oihuka "Ekaitzaren garrasia". Un primer trabajo explosivo y duro como la roca.
