Beefeaters was a blues/garage rock band from Denmark. Starting out as a early sixties beat outfit, they later changed their sound to a more bluesy style while becoming increasingly popular in clubs. They disbanded in 1964 only to reform a year later with a new line-up including Peter Thorup, eventually releasing their first album, the 1967 self-titled "Beefeaters.". In 1969 their second and final album (excl compilations) "Meet You There" was recorded - including original and solid bluesbased rock with a tinge of psychedelia- a style they pioneered completely in Denmark. .
