Born in the States, Oli Stewart AKA Casbah 73, grew up in Madrid, where he developed a passion for music from an early age. He moved to Glasgow in the late '80s coinciding with the explosion of Rare Groove, Chicago House and the whole warehouse scene. Dan has worked playing keys with many of the worlds top artists including spending 7 years on the road and in the studio with Morcheeba (and co-writing 3 tunes for their Dive Deep album). Tipica 73 is a salsa group formed in 1972 in New York by musicians coming from Ray Barretto's band. The group is notable for its experimental style, and was the first US-based salsa orchestra to record in Cuba with the album Tipica 73 En Cuba Intercambio Cultural .
