Overkill is an American thrash metal band formed in 1980 in New Jersey. The band has been active since 1984, releasing 16 studio albums, 2 EPs, 2 live albums and a "covers" album. Despite their first album being released in 1985, most of the songs appearing on their first two albums were written between 1981 and 1984, and as such, they are often hailed as one of the inventors of thrash metal.

They pioneered electronic music in the 70s and are considered one of the most important and influential bands of their genre, often described as "the godfathers of electronic music". Kraftwerk's sound is minimalistic and strictly electronic; it combines driving, repetitive rhythms with catchy melodies and vocals usually sung through a vocoder. There are multiple artists with this name. However, the name Berserk is sometimes misunderstood as soundtrack by Susumu Hirasawa, who is the true artist. The misunderstanding involving the bands and the soundtrack could be avoided if the Berserk OST listeners change their tags to 平沢進.

WERKMARE was a japanese Rock/Metal band from Hokkaido, signed under the Anarchist Records label. They formed in late 2000 and disbanded halfway 2004. They held a one-day revival live in 2008. Most of the band's songs were written by drummer Hiyoka, but guitarist Nachi also composed several songs such as -13- and Awake.
After disbanding, vocalist -aika- went solo, and then formed the jazzrock band ロドウェル. After that he formed the electronic rock band 2nd awake with drummer Hiyoka.
Nachi and Mukuro formed the band √eight, and in 2009 joined 妃阿甦. In 2011 they also formed ＨＡＺＥ.

Twerk is synonymous with machine inclination, his concepts becoming simulations, and the music itself dealing with the paradigm of recontextualizing existing sounds in a complex and dynamic environment utilizing custom designed software and field recording devices.
