Mauricio "Moris" Birabent was born in 1942 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is one of the first argentine musicians. Moris created Los Beatniks, and recorded the first argentine rock single ever: "Rebelde". He also wrote "Ayer Nomás", which became popular by the band Los Gatos by Litto Nebia. In 1970 he editied his first album "Treinta Minutos de Vida" with songs he wrote from 1967 to 1970. In 1973, he released his second album Ciudad de Guitarras Callejeras, and in 1975 he traveled to Spain, where he became popular with his version of the Carl Perkins's song, Blue Sued Shoes...
