At the tail end of the last millennium, after goatrance but before there was full-on, there was minimal psytekk. Artists like Spirallianz, X-Dream, Nuclear Ramjet and The Delta started to look outside the scene for new musical influences. They were inspired by techno, electro, house and industrial music, creating a whole new sound that dominated danceflo...ors all over the world. Then, a few years later, as quickly as it had appeared, it was gone.
In 2008, it came back. Pioneering label Boshke Beats is more active than ever, and new labels like Nachtstrom Schallplatten & Soundmute Recordings have sprung up. Even more than before, artists from both the techno and the psychedelic styles are working together to hypnotize psy-freaks and tech-heads with a whole new sound.
