Scooter - niemiecka grupa happy hardcore . W jej skład wchodzą: H.P. Baxxter, Rick J. Jordan i Michael Simon (Simon dołączył do grupy w 2006, przed nim graliFerris Bueller 1994-1997, Axel Coon 1998-2002 Jay Frog 2002 - 2006 Wszyscy oficjalnie odeszli dla solowej kariery). Zespół powstał w 1993. Pierwszy ich hit Hyper Hyper odniósł ogromny sukces. Każdy kolejny singel grupy trafia na pierwsze miejsca list przebojów. Scooter to jeden z najbardziej znanych zespołów muzyki dance. W Wielkiej Brytanii ich najnowszy album "Jumping All Over The World" zajął 1 miejsce na liście sprzedaży, pobijając tym samym największe brytyjskie gwiazdy.

Piosenki Scootera zawierają wiele charakterystycznych elementów. Często występuje tzw. pitched voice, który stał się znakiem firmowym grupy, jak również charakterystyczny okrzyk H.P. "Yeeeaaahhh", który występuje w wielu utworach podobnie jak odgłosy publiczności.

Fani Scootera mają za złe grupie odchodzenie od happy hardcore, techno, trance, i w ostatnich latach Scooter przeszedł bardziej na dance i eurotrance, co nie podoba się starym fanom. W roku 2007 albumem Jumping All Over The World promował Jumpstyle, zaś w 2009 albumem Under The Radar Over The Top większość utworów nagrana została w stylu Melbourne Shuffle.
