Yazoo (znany jako Yaz w USA) - brytyjski zespół muzyczny, utworzony w 1981 roku w Basildon, w hrabstwie Essex.,który stworzył Vincent Clarke (wcześniej grał w grupie Depeche Mode) wraz z Alison Moyet. Nazwę zespołu nadała grupie Alison od małej Amerykańskiej bluesowej wytwórni muzycznej. W stanach Yazoo nazywało się Yaz żeby zapobiec pomyłkom i prawdopodobnie z powodów prawnych.
