Amerykański zespół Starship powstał w roku 1984, po rozwiązaniu Jefferson Starship. Cobra Starship jest nowojorskim zespołem grającym alternatywnego rocka. Założył go w 2005 roku Gabe Saporta, który był głównym wokalistą oraz basistą w zespole Midtown.
