Scanty Sandwich is London-based DJ and producer Richard Marshall who has previously worked under a variety of guises. He signed to Norman Cook’s Southern Fried label in 1999. ‘Because Of You’, Marshall’s debut, entered the UK Charts at number three in January 2000. Since then he has DJed with Darren Emerson, Fatboy Slim and Howie B. .

The Scanty is an all female japanese pop group. The girls are Akane, Futami, To-bu and Yoppy. This group of young women are well known for their songs "I Love U" and "Rock 'N Roll Princess" which were both opening themes for Arina Tamemura's hit music-based animanga, Full Moon wo Sagashite, which they were animated into. Look out for them soon, since the anime has just reached America under the title "Full Moon". .
