The Ramonetures, created by Mel Bergman of the Phantom Surfers and featuring fuzz guitar legend Davie Allan, is a Ramones cover band with a twist. Their debut album covers 16 Ramones classics in the style of classic instrumental surf band, The Ventures. Their second album, "Johny Walk Don't Run Paulene" welcomes members of the classic punk rock band, X to the lineup and they do covers of, well, X songs.
