As difficult as it is to explain this in musical terms, it is easy to get a feeling for bromance amongst certain bands. Whilst it isn't necessarily restricted by style of music, it is commonly found (or felt rather) amongst underground indie bands in genres such as post-hardcore, emo (I won't bother explaining to anyone who questions that), screamo (..or that..), math rock and post-rock. But it is by no means limited to those genres. The feelings of bromance felt within the band are usually transcended onto fans also, giving shows a real communal and collective feeling.
Bromance - The intense love shared between heterosexual males. A form of male bonding and usually invisible to the naked eye. This bond is normally only shared between two males that have a deeper understanding of each other, in a way no woman could ever realise. .
