Após o vocalista original, Dave Williams, morrer de doença cardíaca, Jason Jones assumiu o seu segundo álbum, Desensitized,(2004) embora ele deixou a banda por motivos pessoais e foi substituído pelo ex-vocalista do SOiL Ryan McCombs para Full Circle (2007), Loudest Common Denominator (2009) e Drowning Pool (2010)

Formed in early 2000, The Drowning Season is a Baltimore, Maryland, gothic rock band consisting of Matt Slowikowski (vocals, programming), Michael “Chewka” Marchewka (guitars) and multi-instrumentalist Sideshow (taking on drum, bass and synth duties). Major influences include The Sisters of Mercy, The Mission (UK) and Fields of the Nephilim.
The band’s first release was a four song EP entitled SIX HOLLOW PERFECT THINGS. Included were the songs “Six Feet Under,” “Hollow,” “Perfect (Dream)” and “Common Things.”
The debut full length HOLLOW was released in June 2002 on the Morphenic Release imprint. Live ventures followed and included performances alongside scene favorites...
Drowning In Phemaldehyde is a Slam death metal band from Charlston, USA. They formed in 2007 by Mark Rawls (Vocals/ Drums, also in Kretan, Sikfuk, Guttural Engorgement, The Empty Tomb) and Sebastien (Guitar / Bass, also in Darkall Slaves, Amputated Repugnance). Their music draws influence from such bands as Devourment, Internal Bleeding, Abysmal Torment and Suffocation. Their music compiles sickening guttural vocals, low tuned slamming guitars and blasting furious drumming.

The Beauty Of Drowning was founded in october 2009 by Daniel La China (vocals, guitars) and Jan Liesefeld (vocals, guitars & keys). After the first songs had originated in home recording-sessions, they decided to recruit Thomas Woite (bass) and Timitheus Schlösser (drums) as permanent band members to vivify the electronic sound of the recordings with the esprit of a rockband.
The stylistic range of The Beauty Of Drowning is set somewhere between electronic post-rock and psychedelic doom metal. A variation that manifests itself in melancholic, dream-like ballads, as well as in brute progressive metal songs.
