In other words, the development of his lyricism is described as a removal of any differences between internal and external experience. Identity becomes endless extension - and speaking of "one-self" in the first person apparently becomes impossible: "Htrspltn himself is a complex web of thoughts, feelings, and associations . started in 2004 by synthesizer freak pi (ex c12;dkw;codebycode)and jb of the 80's avant-garde electroband "kill vision". pi grew up with bands like Cabaret voltaire,spk,throbbing gristle,...with the same passion for industrialistic music he met jb. they started to listen to long forgotten bands and the result was innerbleeding V1 (compilated on machines against hunger 2cd ) in 2005 pi met bd.again music brought them together and soon UNIT was born. as bd works in the (photo)graphic industry,the band became a concept.an audiovisual project! the road to avant-garde elektro was open .

TRS-80 is the name under which founding member, Jay Rajeck records and performs electronic music with keyboardist and collaborator, Eric Fensler. Live drums and analog synthesizers have been the foundation of the band's sound since forming in Chicago in 1997. Rajeck relocated TRS-80 to Los Angeles in 2006 and has continued to expand the instrumentation and musical scope of the band ever since, describing the studio itself as being his main instrument.
