Austin Santos ou simplesmente Arcángel nasceu em 23 de Dezembro de 1985 em Nova Iorque e se mudou para Porto Rico em 2002 para se tornar um grande performer de Reggaeton e músico contemporâneo de música urbana da América Latina.
É cantor, compositor, rapper e ator. Enquanto vivia em Porto Rico participou de uma banda popular de reggaeton "Arcángel & De La Ghetto". O duo foi bem e se tornou popular entre os fãs de reggaeton nos EUA e Porto Rico com as músicas "Agresivo", "Sorpresa" e "Mi Fanática" nos idos de 2000.

Arc Angels are a blues rock band formed in Austin, Texas in the early 1990s. The band was composed of guitarist and singers Doyle Bramhall II and Charlie Sexton and two former members of Stevie Ray Vaughan's band Double Trouble, drummer Chris Layton and bassist Tommy Shannon.
