The basic formula for the equation that is Colepitz began in an old barn just outside of Portland, Maine. Over several months time, vocalist Rob Korhonen (formerly Rob Egbert) and guitarist Ray Suhy began to craft songs that read like a dark copy of the town newspaper; stories of family failure, despondent workforce relations and general boredom with the staus quo.
