Logo após o encerramento oficial do "The Pussycat Dolls" em 2010, sua criadora Robyn Antin deu inicio a formação da nova geração em Los Angeles, Estados Unidos, denominada de PCD 2.0. Após inúmeras seleções e fases preparatórias, o grupo foi formado. As integrantes escolhidas foram: Lauren Bennett (ex-Paradiso Girls), Natasha Slayton, Simone Battle (participante da 1ª temporada do X Factor US), Emmalyn Estrada e Paula Van Oppen (já dançou para Katy Perry, Usher e outros, além de ter participado do filme Burlesque). Burnside Project is a New York City based electro-pop band. The band members include Richard Jankovich, Gerald Hammill, Paul Searing, Anna Bohichik and Michael Lerner.
