Blasterjaxx são os dois produtores musicais e DJs holandeses Thom Jongkind e Idir Makhlaf.
Em 2010, Thom Jongkind, em seguida, operando como Scalix decidiu criar um duo de DJ com outro produtor na época. O projeto foi chamado Blasterjaxx. Quando dobrado, Thom continuou com a Blasterjaxx rotular a si mesmo. Jongkind teve algumas colaborações com Idir Makhlaf, em seguida, operando sob o nome Macosta. Makhlaf eventualmente se juntou Blasterjaxx e em 2012, a Renascer EP foi lançado com o D-Rashid, contendo duas faixas: "renascido" e "Where We Go", com Laidback Luke assinar as faixas em seu próprio selo Mixmash Records....
O duo Basement Jaxx formado por Simon Ratcliffe e Felix Buxton lançou alguns dos mais respeitados singles de house music dos anos 90.
