Soulsister is a Belgian music band consisting of musicians Jan Leyers and Paul Michiels. SoulSister (also known as the Soul Sisters and Leyers, Michiels, and SoulSister) ran from 1986 until 1995 and performed a mix of pop and soul. They will reunite at The Night of the Proms in 2007. The Hall of Souls is a Gothic Rock band from Germany formed in 1991. According to the Hidden Pleasures blog the band's line-up consists of Crowley, Ravenwood, and Fate. The band self-released two audio cassettes in 1991, and was then signed onto Alice In... in 1995. Soulstorm was formed in May of 1991 by Nick Sagias (Bass/Vocals). Nick had just disbanded his previous band Overthrow and played in Holland’s Pestilence before realizing he needed to do something new and exciting. Soulstorm were early pioneers of death metal with industrial overtones, sounding like a cross between Ministry, Swans, Godflesh, Celtic Frost and Obituary. Lamented Souls were doomed from the outset of their now 16-year long career. Disagreements on whether to play death, black or doom metal, and a bass player more concerned with American tractors than playing his bass were only a few of the obstacles the Kolbotn quartet faced during their formative years.
