Brygada Kryzys is one of the most important and most influential Polish rock/punk/reggae bands. Founded in 1981 by two already well-known musicians and composers from Warsaw, Poland - Robert Brylewski - guit., voc. (previously Kryzys) and Tomasz Lipiński - guit., voc. (previously Tilt). BK’s Timeline: 1981 - July - Robert Brylewski asks Tomasz Lipiński whether he would be willing to start a new band. Lipiński agrees. August - A new band, Brygada Kryzys (BK) is formed. Kryzys was a Polish punk rock band founded in 1978 by guitarist and singer, Robert Brylewski. Other band members throughout the years of Kryzys's activity: Maciej Góralski (drums, lyrics), Irek Wereński (bass, after Kryzys's broke-up he played in Brygada Kryzys and Kult), Piotr Mrowiński (guitar), Marek Iwańczuk (bass), Kamil Stoor (drums), Tom Świtalski (sax). Kryzys has never released any official longplay in Poland and its songs were known only from live recordings recorded by fans during concerts and very few studio recordings.
