Trock, short for Time Lord Rock, is a general term referring to music based on the British Science Fiction series Doctor Who. While called "rock" it may or may not actually fall into that category- any music based on the series fits into this category, from Rap to Electronic to Folk. This genre was started by Alex Day, who started the band chameleon circuit with other major youtube personalities upon discovering that there was no wrock-style music for the Doctor Who fanbase. Many other bands have since joined the cause. .
