It’s been two years since The Motel Life ‘s debut full length, Retreat, came out to positive reviews. Much has changed since that release for this relatively young indie-rock band. Between sharing the stage with their idols in fun. and heading out on three self-funded tours, the band is back with their most ambitious material to date.

After playing hundreds of shows and going through some turbulent times, the band is a little older and a little wiser. With the release of Those Bruises, the most recent EP, The Motel Life is beginning the next stage as a band by sticking to the DIY ethics that made the group what it is today.
