In 2004, the five friends decided to persue their concerted passion and founded XENESTHIS.
Their first EP "Straight to Infinity" gained awesome reviews all over Europe.

In 2006 XENESTHIS recorded there EP "Shades", the recordlabel Noiseheadrecords got interested and signed XENESTHIS in March 2007.

The band established a good reputation as a live act, so they were choosen by Slayer's tour manager to support the Unholy Alliance Tour 2008 in Vienna and even had the chance to fire up the crowd for Metallica at the Nova Rock festival 2009.

From 2006-2009 XENESTHIS shared the stage with and played support shows for the following bands:
SLAYER, SLIPKNOT, TRIVIUM, AMON AMARTH, MASTODON, LACUNA COIL, DISTURBED, AS I LAY DYING, SONIC SYNDICATE, DEATHSTARS, NEAERA, EKTOMORF, CALIBAN, AS WE FIGHT, DO OR DIE, CATARACT, SWORN ENEMY, J.B.O., DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER, PAIN, GOTTHARD and many more.

Their debut-album "sick of pitch-black" was released in autumn 2007 via Noiseheadrecords.

After the split with Noiseheaderecords in 2009, a new EP "Chaos" was self-released.

XENESTHIS released their second album "Thou shalt not" in May 2011 via Come Clean Records. The album gained great reviews in and outside Europe. METAL HAMMER Germany awarded the band the title “Heroes of Tomorrow” (issue 10/2011). More is still to come…
