Metropak were a band in Edinburgh, Scotland circa 1979/80 and were inspired by the New Wave/Punk explosion started at around that time when bands started their own independant labels and made their own records. Band members were Murray Bruce, Stephen Harrison(first two singles only), Robin Thistlethwaite, Toni Mcvitie, Helen Rutherford. Metropak were contemporary in Edinbugh at that time with Fire Engines, TV Art, Josef K, Scars, Flowers, Rezillos, The Visitors, The Freeze, It's Over It's Over It's Over, Boots for dancing, Matt Vinyl and the Decorators, Jacki and all the ones, The Colour Group, The Cubs, Green Rayo, Strange Daze...

O Tropa de Shock iniciou sua trajetória no final dos anos 80, apontado pelos críticos como um dos destaques da década de 90 com o album “Fragmentos”. Mas foi em 1992, que a banda foi reconhecida internacionalmente, com os sucessos “Angels of Eternity” e “Hard Storm”, inicialmente em um promo CD. O reconhecimento veio rápido e o CD “Angels of eternity” esgotou rápido das prateleiras. La Tropa F is a Tejano music group from San Antonio, Texas. Originally named Los Hermanos Farias, the group changed its name to La Tropa F in the 1980s.
