The stage name "Tweek" refers to at least three artists: 1. The solo project of Marie Tweek, the singer for the deep house collective The Rurals. 2. The Tweeks are a four-piece band fronted by singer/guitarist Chris Keogh, and hail from Dunedin, NZ. Their music is undeniably rooted in rock, but spans an eclectic blend of pop and punk leanings. Originally known as 'Sifty Chris and the Gladeyes', then simply 'The Gladeyes', they changed their name again to 'The Tweeks' to avoid the confusion of sharing it with an Auckland-based band. .
If we go way back, it all began with a simple mixer and a set of cd-decks (pretty obvious huh?). Marcus Nordli and Kenth Kvien got their interest in electronical music way back as youngsters, looking up at the major djs.
