Redjetson were a UK based post-rock band who have been influenced by a diverse selection of bands including Interpol, Slint, Radiohead, Joy Division, Explosions in the Sky, My Bloody Valentine, Sigur Rós, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, The Doors & Mogwai.
In 2002 they released a self titled single on Steinbeck Records. They followed this up with a second release in 2003, again on Steinbeck Records. During 2004 the band toured extensivly including a tour with Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies, whom they released a split 12" with on the Drowned In Sound Recordings Label. Jetson is one person, and writes songs when his other band projects aren't full steam ahead. Jetson music is generally thought-based and music driven. The lyrics are important in a society that operates in a certain way, the music is mostly a reaction to it. It can bring you up to certain places and bring you down from others. Fatso Jetson is an American desert rock band from the Palm Desert, (California, USA), formed in 1994 by ex-Yawning Man members Mario and Larry Lalli, along with Tony Tornay. The Lalli cousins are often credited as the fathers of the desert strain of stoner rock later made famous by bands such as Kyuss, Fu Manchu, and Queens of the Stone Age. While musically similar to some of their stoner brethren, Fatso Jetson incorporate a broader variety of musical influences that includes punk and surf.
