The Milk Carton Kids are a contemporary folk duo from Los Angeles, California. Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan formed the group in early 2011, shelving their solo careers in favor of a collaborative project that focused on harmonized vocals, entwined acoustic guitars, and rootsy songwriting. Electro-pop formation Cartonnage was founded in 2001 and consisted of producer/musician Armin Effenberger and singer Vanda Choco. Cartonnage are from Prague, Czech Republic. It began in 2001 when Armin and Vanda Choco started to record the first moods. So band was born. They recorded debut CD1 album in 2004. Debut album CD1 featured was nominated by the Expresradio Golden Ear in the category discovery of the year.
