Max Webster was a Canadian rock band of the late 1970s. The band was formed in 1973 in Sarnia, Ontario and consisted of guitarist and vocalist Kim Mitchell, keyboardist Terry Watkinson, bassist Mike Tilka and drummer Paul Kersey. Mick Gordon (born 9 July 1985) is an Australian composer and sound designer whose compositions aim to transcend the perceptual boundary between music and its context. Mick utilises a broad range of modern musical sound design and traditional composition techniques in order to be unconstrained by any singular genre. His music...

Stylistically he was also indebted to alto star Johnny Hodges, who, he said, taught him to play his instrument. Webster...
Doctor Dexter is an enigma. Embroiled on the stove and shrouded in surroundings, he makes music for the ears to behold. He comprises one fifth of The Velcrow Syndicate. Some say that perhaps he is related to the band Hark! in some way. Perhaps he is their private dancer, perhaps one of the band members in another guise. Mayhap, I hear, the dastardly dog is also a compadre of darling old Lucy Tentacles. Whoever (or whatever) he is, the dextrous surgeon is currently working on his first solo album As Hand For Sailor, which promises to be either promising or...
