The Mieters play original Nederbeat. The Mieters spelen originele nederbiet. Het repertoire bestaat uit authentieke 60's klanken met daarop moderne, Nederlandstalige teksten. The Mieters worden geinspireerd door Britse beatbands als The Beatles, The Who en The Kinks, maar ook door Nederlandse nederbietbands als HET, ZZ en de Maskers, Q65, The Mokum Beat Five en The Outsiders. Jarek Śmietana is one of Poland's great jazz guitarists, first emerging on the Polish jazz scene in the late 1960s.
