Bree Sharp is the witty, pretty singer-songwriter behind the turn-of-the-century hit song David Duchovny. Originally, from Philadelphia, she made her way to New York to study dance. Following encouragement from those who heard her singing she began to pursue a musical career. She quickly got attention from the industry and got a song on the air. Bree quickly released 2 CDs, followed by 1 live CD. On the heels of that, she did the theme song for the animated children's television show Mew Mew from the same creative organization that produced the wildly popular kids' show Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles....

Bill Sharpe from early 80s soul/funk group Shakatak teamed up with synth pop pioneer Gary Numan in 1984. This unlikely combination scored a UK Top 20 hit in 1984 with 'Change Your Mind'. Several follow-up singles; 'New Thing From London Town', 'No More Lies' and 'I'm On Automatic' plus an album 'Automatic' all charted but made considerably less impact. .

Dee Dee Sharp (born Dione LaRue, September 9, 1945, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States) is an American R&B singer, who began her career recording as a backing vocalist in 1961. In 1962 she began a string of successful Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hits: "Slow Twistin'" (with Chubby Checker) (#3), "Mashed Potato Time" (#2), "Gravy (For My Mashed Potatoes)" (#9), "Ride" (#5) and "Do the Bird" (#10). Both "Mashed Potato Time" and "Ride" each sold over one million copies, and were awarded gold discs. "Do the Bird" provided her only entry in the UK Singles Chart, where it peaked at #46...

The Sharpees were an American soul group with Vernon Guy, Benny Sharp, Stacy Johnson, and lead singer Herbert Reeves. Originally from St. Louis, they made their name in 1965 with the record "Do The 45". They stayed together in one form or another until 1972 when Herbert Reeves was murdered.
