From the Philharmonic website: "Tbilisi Symphony was founded in 1993 by famous Georgian conductor Djansug Kakhidze. He was the artistic director and chief conductor of the orchestra. Under the baton of this outstanding musician the standard of Tbilisi Symphony has risen to international ones. During these years Tbilisi Symphony was on tour in France (1994, 1996, 2001), Switzerland (1994, 1996), Turkey (1995), Luxembourg (1996) and Germany (1999). The orchestra had very successful concerts in such famous concert halls as Salle Pleyel and Theatre de Champs Elyssee in Paris, Symphony Hall in Basel, Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt, Congress Hall in Ankara. Volkolak is a NS Pagan/folk band from Amur region, East Russia that formed in 1997. Strong National Socialist beliefs and White Pride ideals are expressed by this band. The band members have run into a great deal of trouble in Russia due to their NS activities, and the future of the band has often been in doubt. Mostly the band plays folk melodies deeply rooted in Russian folklore, however their latest release saw a move towards a more Black Metal/Folk direction. Word volkolak means werewolf in Russian. .
