Sandra Oxenryd is a Swedish artist who became famous in the Swedish version of Fame Factory - a reality show where a group of people study music in various ways. Later on, she competed for Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with "Through My Window". She also tried out in the Polish National Final in 2008 with the song "Superhero". .

There are at least three bands or people that use the name Oxen: 1) Oxen is one of the creations of Grzech Piotrowski – a Polish jazz saxophonist. A more renowned idea of Piotrowski is Alchemik, a group already well-established on the Polish jazz scene. Still, between Alchemik and Oxen much similarity cannot be found. Roxen (Urdu: روزن) is a Pakistani band, formed back in September 2004 with initial line up Mustafa a.k.a musti , Jawad a.k.a Jodi and Omar came out with their debut song "Yaadein" which topped almost all e-zines and laters the video topped all local music channels.
