Julia Nunes (born January 3rd, 1989) is a singer-songwriter and ukulele player from New York. She started writing songs at the age of 13, when she was member of a Ska band. Julia Claire was born in Surrey, England. At thirteen, she was given her first part as an actress in the BBC series "A Little Princess". Her first recording contract in 1987 lead her to base her life between England and Spain where the Maxi single "A Summer Romance" became top of the charts.
