Kazuhisa Uchihasi (内橋和久, Uchihashi Kazuhisa) is a Japanese guitarist involved in free improvisation music. Born in 1959 in Osaka, Uchihashi began to play the guitar at age 12, playing in various rock bands, though he later studied jazz music. The collaborative work of Jonathan Borges and Shannon Kennedy of Pedestrian Deposit could be described as highly composed, often abstract sound textures combined to create dynamic experimental music that draws on the duo’s widely contrasting auditory obsessions. Borges’ use of crude yet disciplined electronics, tape loops, field recordings, and controlled feedback manipulation contrasts against Shannon’s use of self-designed stringed instruments, bowing techniques and amplified wood and metal, resulting in music that is both raw and refined. Aynur Haşhaş (b. 1973) is a Turkish singer of traditional songs. Haşhaş was born in Istanbul. She attended Istanbul Technical University's Turkish Music State Conservatory, where she spent seven years of training and study, including singing and research on folk dances, and Semahlarla studies. She graduated in 1990. Haşhaş released her first album, Dün ve Gün, in 1994; following the success of that album, in 1999 she released Yolculuk, produced by Arif Sağ, who also produced her third album, Yar Sesi in 2002. Her fourth album, Bahar, was released in 2004, and her latest, Sevdakâr, in 2011. .
