Feargal Sharkey (born Sean Feargal Sharkey on 13 August 1958, in Derry, Northern Ireland, UK) is a singer who first found fame as the lead vocalist of pop punk band The Undertones (1975), famous for the hit single "Teenage Kicks". Sharkey is a popular British DJ/MC/producer and one of the key originators of the freeform genre of hardcore dance music. Sharkey initially became well known as an MC at hardcore rave events in the UK in 1993, with a popular and charismatic style.
