Influenced by: Pulp, Radiohead, New Order, Echo And The Bunnymen, Kraftwerk, The Stone Roses, Interpol, Bernard Butler, Wilco, The Cure and, sometimes, Beatles. There are four bands called Disco Volante. The first was the 80's electropop group, led by Terry Tanx, which released their first single in 1984 entitled "No Motion" c/w "Click" & "Punishment Tank" (Live Track), this was followed up in 2015 by the Space and Time EP which included the title track Space and Time and a cover to the Marc Bolan classic Get it On (Bang a Gong). 1. Czech punk group from Pardubice 2. Volant is a trio from Birmingham, Alabama. The writing nucleus is comprised of twins Keith and Kevin Harrison, formerly of TVT recording artists Wayne. Producer Jason Elgin (Collective Soul, Virgos Merlot, Wayne, Lynam, Mars Electric, Maylene & the Sons of Disaster… ) directs and engineers their projects. Original drummer Jon Hornsby, also of Wayne, was recently replaced by multi-instrumentalist David Crenshaw (Ruben Studdard, Just a Few Cats) as a collaborative partner and drummer. Volant is currently writing and recording songs for their upcoming release. Their 2003 eponymous ep is available now. .
