Carnivore was an American crossover thrash metal band formed by Peter Steele (later of Type O Negative fame) out of the ruins of the Brooklyn hard rock group Fallout. They released two albums: Carnivore (1985) and Retaliation (1987). The band broke up not long thereafter. The first album is more traditionally metal-sounding, drawing inspiration from Black Sabbath, Motörhead and 1970s Judas Priest, while the second has significant hardcore punk/crossover influence. Both are fit neatly into the speed thrash genre, however. Agnivolok is a dark folk side-project of Chaos As Shelter members which was formed by Vera Shapiro (from Jerusalem) and Vadim Gusis (from Rehovot) in 1998 in Jerusalem, Israel. Vocalist Vera plays guitar and writes the lyrics. Vadim plays various musical instruments and does the arrangements. Two other members of Agnivolok taking part in the recordings are Shurik Weits and Igor Krutogolov, an avant-garde musician leading his project Kruzenshtern & Parohod and also playing in the experimental dark ambient act Crossfishes. http://www.myspace.com/agnivolok .

Dormant Carnivore was founded in 2005 as experimental one man project. In autumn of 2007 2 vocalists joined the band (one of Aborted Fetus and another of Offalmincer, FatalError), in winter of the same year they found bassist and drummer. Band made several gigs in Russia. In november of 2008 Promo CD was released (only 100 copies). At the moment DC are recording slams for the first album. .

Her favorite color is turquoise. Her favorite food is purple Pez. In a past life she slept beneath the stars in far away Western places and died in a gun fight with Annie Oakley. Following high school, Springtime Carnivore joined a traveling circus company. She was a talented and nimble acrobat but her career was cut short by a tragic tightrope accident....
