dancecore | en

"Dancecore" is a term used to describe a track that has been remixed in such a way as to make it sound harder, faster, and (generally speaking) more 'extreme'. Dancecore artists will often take an old dance song, speed it up to between 200 and 300bpm (often re-pitching it in the process) and mix it with gabber kicks and breakcore-style breakbeats (programmed by the artist doing the remix) to make a new track. The term dancecore can also be used to describe mash-ups that have been made in this way, though that style is more commonly known as "mashcore". .
