Frank Zappa had an absurdly large output for a solo musician, producing 62 albums of original material across nearly three decades, with posthumous releases adding another 50+ records to the collection. These were split between Zappa solo or The Mothers of Invention, along with others including the Captain Beefheart collaboration Bongo Fury, Abnuceals Emuukha Electric Symphony Orchestra (responsible for Lumpy Gravy), and a one-off collaboration with his daughter Moon Unit for his mainstream hit "Valley Girl."
