The project Shift69 is the proof that the electro artist from Ausgburg, Arne J. Schmid, can assure a full dance floor for the electronic and synthie-pop scene.

The experimental project, originated in 2004 in South Germany, became a colorful sparkler, which draws a harmonic image from motivating sounds, strong rhythms and singing robotic voices. This became much more than the amount of it's individual components.

The mostly speedy collages are revealing the ambitions, both the affection to wide plane melodies and the warm sterility of analogue rhythms, behind the elaborate compositions.
