The New Shapes are Mark Roberts (vocals and guitar), David O'Connor (guitars), Euan Hinshelwood (bass and keys) and Adam Lambert (drums).The New Shapes have played London more than enough times to gain a familiarity with themselves and what they want to do. They recorded with Liam Watson at his Toerag studios in East London, garnering much attention for their exceptional songwriting talent. In August 2005 they released their striking debut single 'You got me running round' to great acclaim, scoring XFM playlisting and impressing Claire Sturgess enough for her to choose it as her 'record of the week'. And with the NME catching on to what Internet fanzines and forums have been raving about for months, THE NEW SHAPES are most certainly moving into new territory. Next singles 'Waiting for a God' and 'There's no escaping you' proved their worth! They re-started playing together in early 2008. First gig after break was 2nd August 2008 'The Longest Day' Festival in Brighton.
