The Lumineers are a folk rock trio which formed in Denver, Colorado, United States in 2002. The band consists of Wesley Schultz (vocals, guitar), Neyla Pekarek (piano, cello, mandolin, vocals) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, vocals). In 2008 a pair of fans of Super Nintendo cult hit Earthbound, Ed Kroeger & Wayne Heater, started up a band devoted to music from the videogame series. Over time, the pair worked on a few singles and posted them on the band's myspace page (www.myspace.com/luminehallmusic).
