The Commercials were (also a band on messthetics - link??) a post-hardcore/emo band hailing from Harrisburg, Pa. They were signed to Blackout! Records. Their most notable releases were "It's Not What You...It's How You Say It" and their swan song, a splilt ep with Florida's "Shadow Agency". Former members have since gone on to play in the band "Safari So Good" also featuring members of Breaking Pangea. .
There is a band named Commercial, composed of Trevor Kampman and Sean O'Neal, signed to Epitonic Records. Instrumentation includes synthesizers and "an orchestra of xylophones and tubas that's between gigs recording soundtracks for Saturday morning cartoons."

End of 2003 the Commercial Club Crew was found by Frank LaVerne (Frank Nanninga) and Chris van Dutch (Patrick Scholl) in Gemany. Two months after the founding of the project Frank Laverne leaved the project for personal reasons. He was replaced by Rick Tale (Henrick Münchow).
