A hardcore band formed in 1989 from San Diego . They thrashed about with a sound like none other. Consisting of Matt Anderson on vocals, with Ron Johnson, Scott Bartiloni and Aaron Montaigne. After they broke up in 1993, they went on to form and play with bands such as End of The Line, Antioch Arrow, Spacehorse and Clikatat Ikatowi. There is also a german Minimal musician called Heroin. The original Gym Class Heroes formed in 1997 when Travis "Schleprok" McCoy and drummer Matt McGinley became friends during physical education class while at high school in Geneva, New York, US and joined forces with guitarist Milo Bonacci and bassist Ryan Geise.
