Of Monsters and Men are an indie folk band which formed in 2010 in Keflavík/Garðabær, Iceland. The band consists of Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir (vocals, guitar), Ragnar Þórhallsson (vocals, guitar), Brynjar Leifsson (guitar), Kristján Páll Kristjánsson (bass), Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson (drums) and the former member Árni Guðjónsson (keyboards, accordion), who left the band in 2012. The band released their debut album "My Head Is an Animal" in September 2011. The Singing Adams WAS Steven J. Adams of The Broken Family Band's solo project - he can now be found performing with the similarly named Singing Adams. When Adams released "Problems", his 2005 solo album, he chose to hide behind this monicker. The album features Mick Roman, also of The Broken Family Band, and Timothy Victor of The Folk Orchestra, a long time Broken Family Band collaborator and producer, as well as members of Candidate, The Piney Gir Country Roadshow and Michaelmas. .

Surrounded By Monsters is a six piece act from Denton, Texas that began in late 2007. From the begining SBM was bent on bringing something new and refreshing to the Dallas/ Ft. Worth hardcore metal scene, and that is exactly what they have done over the past years and not only in the DFW scene. They have branched out into many different states country wide due to eight DIY tours and tons of online promotion. Its easy to see that SBM is one of the hardest working unsigned bands in Texas.
