80s experimental music out of Berlin, Germany. Named after a festival that took place on 4 September 1981 in the Tempodrom and a subsequent book about it published by Wolfgang Müller in 1982. The genre encompassed Die Tödliche Doris, Einstürzende Neubauten, Malaria!, Frieder Butzmann and many others. .
