A close-knit circle of Black Metal from parts of Russia.
Some bands formed as early as 1991, with early releases by the circle having a heavy NS direction but more importantly, defining what would later be atmospheric black metal with their use of a signature lo-fi, raw production often combined with natural soundscapes and other desolate ambience.
Further down in time, these bands would also add elements of folk metal or pagan metal to their work.
Notorious in eastern europe for their imagery, lyrical themes and political affiliation, several musicians in Blazebirth Hall have been murdered or disappeared completely. .
