Bio

Groove Garcia is a young dj, musician and producer with more than 15 years of experience and a solid and rising career. He began in the world of music at the early age of 4. He played his first piano concert when he was just 5. Some years later he completed the solfa, piano, harmony and composition studies. Thanks to what he learnt and to an unquestionable talent, Groove Garcнa debuted in publishing with labels like Sushi Productions, Nitro o Cassagrande. Precisely, it was on Cassagrande where he published “Spanish Guitar” and “Mainland Spain”, two anthemic tunes which sold more than 4.000 copies each and gave him the impulse that he needed. By the way, “Mainland Spain” won the Groove Annual for the best house production of 2005. His album “Cassagrande Tribal Sessions Vol.2” was a pure success with more than 10.000 copies sold.

But all of these achievements were not enough for him, that is why in 2006 Groove Garcнa decided to go a step forward and set up a brand new label, Khazuma Recordings.

Roger Sбnchez, Junior Jack or Francesco Farfa are just some of the celebrities that have put Groove Garcia’s tunes in their boxes. Our artist can presume of being included in Last FM (UK) and Oxygen (Germany) charts, in front of Deep Dish, David Guetta, George Michael or ATB.

We shouldn’t forget about his remixer facet. Groove Garcнa has already remixed people like Freddy Mбrquez, Soul Mates, John Jacobsen, Miquel Molina, Josй Hernбndez, Darwin Barboza or Jobani. The definitive recognition will take place very soon, when he launches his remix of the massive tune “The deep show” by Matthew Dekay on Armada label.

In session, Groove Garcнa is energic and convincing. On a Groove Garcia’s set we can listen to all house styles: from the most elegant deep house to the rowdiest electro, from the most erudite progressive house to the vanguard of tech and minimal. That versatility and adaptation to the dancefloor has allowed him to play in such emblematic clubs as Space Ibiza, Florida 135, different Pacha clubs, El Divino and Penthouse in Madrid, Friends Valencia, The Loft in Vitoria or River House Club. Plus, he has two monthly residences at Space and Discothиque in Barcelona.

Groove Garcнa attended to the Miami Winter Music Conference 2006 and carried out a very spectacular set at Jamboree club next to his Sushi Productions colleagues. But if we had to emphasize one unforgettable set, it would probably be the one at the Independance Festival in Zaragoza, where he played in front of a massive audience of more than 100.000 people.

Recently, he has founded Pulsar The Luxe next to Abel Ramos, a brand new label which will be dedicated to progressive house sounds. Amongst his future projects, there is an Interstate remix for Armada label and another one for Holden & Thompson, two works that will confirm that Groove Garcia has, potentially, great artistic value. .
