Salih Bilgin was born in Istanbul in 1960. His family roots are from Bolvadin, Afyon in Western Turkey. In 1980, Bilgin entered the Turkish Music Government Conservatory at Istanbul Technical University. His teachers included Niyazi Sayin (ney), Özdal Orhon (theory, solfeggio, & repertoire), Hursit Ungay (rhythm), Ahmet Kabakli (literature), and Cafer Açin (organology). In 1984, he graduated from Nefesli Sazlar (Reed Instruments) Ney section and joined the Istanbul Government Classic Music Chorus. Murat Dalkılıç (born August 7, 1983 in İzmir, Turkey) is a Turkish pop singer. Dalkılıç began learning to play piano when he was very young, later starting his first band at fifteen. Dalkılıç is a graduate of Beykent University of Performing Arts. On October 10, 2008, his first single Kasaba (English: Town) was released to radio.
