It was winter of 2008 and the winds swept across the midwestern fields. Stripped of their possessions and scrounging to survive, five young men (mere boys in some eyes) howled in the night as they formed a rebellious band of wild outcasts. A Dancing Beggar began in the summer of 2007 and a number of songs followed resulting in the 6 track EP, How They Grow, which was self released in February 2009. Spiritual Beggars are a stoner rock/metal band from Halmstad, Sweden. They formed in 1992 and debuted with a self-titled album in 1994. Spiritual Beggars are basically a reversion to true rock roots. a four piece from manchester, made up of Bob kemp(vocals), Duggie Harrop(guitar), Chris perry(bass) and chris on drums. they signed to ugly man records in 1989(ish) released one 7" and one 12". man in a suit and welcome, respectivly. this is trhe same lable as the man from delmonte started out on. unfortunatly i have no more info on them. but they were a good group and at one point supported james(where i first heard them). .
